Welcome to Adopt to Educate! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our Platform, which includes our website, mobile application, and any future features or services we may introduce. These Terms are important because they defi ne our relationship with you as you interact with our services.

"Adopt to Educate," "we," "us," "our," and other similar terms refer to Adopt to Educate, the entity providing this Platform.

Acceptance of Terms.

By using Adopt to Educate, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. This means you understand and accept all rules related to using our services.

Whether you are:

  • Making a donation as a Donor
  • Receiving donations as an Educational Organization
  • Managing compliance as an Administrator
  • Interacting with the Platform in any other capacity

These Terms apply to you.

Since Adopt to Educate is a Pakistan-based entity, you are entering into this agreement with Adopt to Educate, incorporated and registered in Pakistan. The Platform operates under Pakistani laws and regulations, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using our Platform.

1. About Adopt to Educate

Adopt to Educate is a Pakistan-based donor engagement platform that connects donors with verified educational organizations to facilitate transparent and impactful contributions towards education.

Our services include:

  • Providing a secure platform for donors to contribute to certified educational organizations.
  • Enabling organizations to track donations, report impact, and engage with donors.
  • Offering administrative oversight to ensure compliance with fund utilization standards.

While we strive to ensure transparency, Adopt to Educate does not control or guarantee how funds are used once they are received by an educational organization.

Non-Profit Status.

Adopt to Educate operates as a non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating transparent and impactful donations to educational institutions. The platform is designed solely for charitable and philanthropic purposes, ensuring that funds donated by users are directed towards improving access to quality education.

As a non-profit entity, Adopt to Educate:

  • Does not operate for commercial profit or distribute earnings to individuals.
  • Uses funds exclusively for the maintenance, growth, and sustainability of the platform and its educational initiatives.

By using this Platform, you acknowledge that Adopt to Educate is not a financial institution, investment platform, or for-profit fundraising service. Any donations made through the platform are charitable contributions and not commercial transactions.

2. Definitions

"Platform" - Refers to the Adopt to Educate website, mobile app, and related services.

  • "User" - Anyone accessing or using the Platform, including Donors, Educational Organizations, and Administrators.
  • "Donor" - Individuals or entities making financial contributions through the Platform.
  • "Educational Organization" - A registered and verified school, institution, or non-profit receiving donations.
  • "Administrator" - Platform operators who manage compliance, oversee donations, and resolve disputes.
  • "We," "Us," "Our" - Refers to Adopt to Educate as a service provider.

3. Account Creation and Eligibility Requirements

To access and use Adopt to Educate, you must first create an account and meet the following eligibility criteria:

  1. Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to register and use our services. If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  2. Accurate Information: You must provide true, complete, and verifiable information, including your full name, address, contact details, and any other required data. You are responsible for keeping your information updated.
  3. Compliance with Laws: You must not be barred from financial services under applicable laws or sanctions in Pakistan or any other relevant jurisdiction.
  4. Prohibited Activities: You must not use the Platform for fraudulent, illegal, or deceptive purposes, including but not limited to:
    • a) Misrepresenting your identity or the purpose of donations.
    • b) Using the Platform for money laundering, fraud, or unauthorized fundraising.
    • c) Engaging in any activity that violates local or international financial regulations.
    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false or misleading information, or engage in prohibited activities.

3.2. Compliance with Third-Party Services

We partner with third-party payment processors to facilitate donations. You may be required to register separately with them and agree to their terms of service (outlined in the Payment Processing section below).

If at any time:

  • ● We or our payment processors determine that the information you provided is false, incomplete, or violates any terms,
  • ● You misuse donations, or
  • ● You fail to comply with financial regulations,

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to some or all of our services. Additionally, if any fraudulent activity is detected, you may be reported to relevant governmental authorities, which could lead to legal consequences.

3.3. Keeping Your Account Safe

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. This includes:

  • ● Not sharing your password with anyone.
  • ● Immediately notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • ● Logging out of your account after use, especially on shared or public devices.

If you fail to protect your account and unauthorized access leads to financial loss or misuse, Adopt to Educate is not responsible for any damages.

4. Donor Responsibilities

By making a donation, you:

  • Acknowledge that donations are voluntary and non-refundable.
  • Understand that funds go directly to verifi ed organizations and are not managed by Adopt to Educate.
  • Agree that Adopt to Educate is not responsible for how donations are used once disbursed.
  • Confirm that all payment details provided are accurate and legally authorized

We strongly recommend that donors review reports and updates provided by educational organizations before making contributions.

5. Educational Organization Responsibilities

5.1. All recipient organizations must:

  • Undergo a verification process before receiving donations.
  • Use funds solely for educational purposes, such as infrastructure, technology, and student support.
  • Provide periodic reports on fund utilization to maintain transparency.
  • Comply with all Pakistani tax and legal obligations regarding donations.

Failure to meet these conditions may result in suspension or removal from the Platform.

5.2. Educational organizations using the Adopt to Educate Web Portal agree to:

  1. Accurate Reporting: Organizations must provide truthful and verifiable reports detailing fund utilization, student impact, and project progress. Misrepresentation or falsified data may result in account suspension, legal action, or refund obligations.
  2. Fund Utilization Compliance: Funds received through the platform must be used exclusively for educational purposes, such as:
    • Student tuition assistance
    • Infrastructure development
    • Procurement of learning materials and digital resources
    • Faculty training and development

    Any misuse or redirection of funds for unauthorized purposes may lead to investigations, penalties, or removal from the platform.

  3. Transparency in Financial Handling: Organizations must maintain proper financial records and agree to random audits by Adopt to Educate to ensure compliance. Failure to provide requested documents or clarification on fund allocation may result in account suspension.
  4. Adherence to Local Regulations: Organizations must comply with all Pakistani financial, taxation, and educational regulations governing non-profits and educational funding.
  5. Web Portal Security Compliance: Organizations must ensure that only authorized personnel access their Adopt to Educate accounts. They must immediately revoke access for employees, staff , or volunteers who leave their institution or no longer require access.

5.3. User Access & Role-Based Permissions

Educational organizations may allow multiple users (such as administrators, fi nance offi cers, and fundraising managers) to access the web portal. To ensure security and accountability, organizations must:

    Maintain Role-Based Access:

  • Organizations must assign clear roles to their internal users and ensure only authorized personnel access fi nancial and donor data.
  • Adopt to Educate is not responsible for any internal mismanagement or data leaks caused by improper access permissions within an organization.
  • Monitor User Activity: The primary account holder is responsible for actions under their profile and must manage user access appropriately.

  • The primary account holder (e.g., school principal or fi nance manager) is responsible for all actions taken under their organization's profile.
  • Organizations must review and revoke access for inactive users, former employees, or individuals no longer affi liated with their institution.
  • Compliance with Web Portal Policies:

  • Organizations must ensure that their internal team follows all Terms & Conditions of Adopt to Educate.
  • Any fraudulent activity, unauthorized fund redirection, or security breaches by an internal user will result in the suspension of the organization's account.

6. Payment Processing

Adopt to Educate partners with third-party payment processors to facilitate secure and efficient transactions. All donations made through our platform are processed directly by these external payment providers, and we do not store or have access to your payment details, such as credit card or bank account information. While we strive to provide a seamless donation experience, the actual processing of transactions is managed by these third-party financial institutions. As a result, Adopt to Educate is not responsible for any transaction failures, banking issues, delays, or disputes that may arise. If you experience payment-related issues, we recommend contacting the respective payment provider for further assistance.

7. Tax Compliance and Receipts

  • Donations may be eligible for tax exemptions under Pakistani law, depending on the recipient organization.
  • Adopt to Educate does not provide tax advice—donors should consult a tax professional.
  • Educational organizations are responsible for issuing receipts and maintaining compliance with tax regulations.

8. Refund Policy

  • All donations are final and non-refundable once processed.
  • If an organization is found to misuse funds, donors may file a formal complaint via the Platform.
  • Adopt to Educate will investigate, but we do not guarantee refunds.
  • The final decision on refunds rests with the educational organization, not Adopt to Educate.

9. Account Termination and Suspension

  • All donations are final and non-refundable once processed.
  • If an organization is found to misuse funds, donors may file a formal complaint via the Platform.
  • Adopt to Educate will investigate, but we do not guarantee refunds.
  • The final decision on refunds rests with the educational organization, not Adopt to Educate.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if:

  • Users violate these Terms.
  • Donors engage in fraudulent transactions.
  • Organizations fail to comply with fund utilization guidelines.

Suspended accounts may be reviewed upon request, but reinstatement is not guaranteed.
